Schlumberger always applies many layers of the most diverse materials in gestural, abstractly designed colour rhythms. In the background of the picture, beings appear as pale shadows or dark spots with archaic, demonic or angelic features, acting in invisible worlds, be it in futuristic or sunken cities, under water or in (burning) rainforests.
